Enservio’s contents valuation service transforms slow, frustrating guesswork into a fast, efficient science. This service can be used with or without our Inventory Creation services, and the process is user-friendly, easy, and fast.
The Science of Contents
In order to value contents with the highest levels of accuracy and efficiency, we use the Enservio Valuation Platform (VP). The Enservio VP, a web-based application, is the market’s leading contents claim valuation and management solution.
Leveraging our TrueLKQ™ technology, the Enservio VP verifies objective, documented values for inventoried items. The platform’s match engine accesses real-time prices for more than a billion products from thousands of sources, learning from each match. All matches pass through an automated quality assurance module and are reviewed and approved by our trained and highly-skilled desk appraisers. The Enservio VP further manages each step in the contents valuation workflow, including, for example, the calculation of taxes and depreciation, as well as the factoring in of sub-limits.
For unique, hard-to-value items like art and collectibles, we supplement the Enservio VP with our Select capabilities (www.enservioselect.com).
The Contents Valuation Report
Our valuation service results in the production of our detailed Contents Valuation Report (CVR). The CVR provides adjusters with unparalleled detail, accuracy and convenience, helping to resolve contents claims quickly.
Delivered in easy-to-read Excel, Word, or PDF format, the CVR presents the details of each line item of a claim. From item description and room location to limit overages, depreciation and more, the CVR provides adjusters with a convenient contents roadmap. The file is also readily modifiable to meet the varying needs of adjusters.
Convenience and Speed
Using our valuation service is both easy and fast. Claims can be submitted by mail, fax transmission, over the phone or by voice recording—any method you choose. What’s more, CVRs are generally rendered in just a couple of days for smaller claims and in less than a week for claims exceeding 500 lines.
